The day that never comes...

Listening to Metallica's death magnetic, watching as the suspense build up waiting if one of those armed men would panic and it would end up booming all the way, but then happens the day that usually never comes... Peace reigns, brotherhood, love for thy neighbor and all that should be "in a perfect world"
But then do I ask is it really a perfect world? Maybe in some other parallel universe, but not here.

It's been two days now, media coverage is declining, politicians have started chewing on the leftover bones... been two days...
And my perpetual anger has a new fuel. Who dares push us around, who dares think we can hit the ground? But then are we really proving any better?
Yes we were a country of peaceful men and women. Yes the father of our nation is well acknowledged as the prophet of peace in modern times. Yes he did baffled the british with his methods of peaceful agitation.
But that was more than 60 years back. That was during the days when the men were emaciated, were to weak to fight back. And even though the strategy was of peace, we had stood up to the challenge of our rival.
Peace can no more be the excuse for our incapacity, today. Peace can no more be the excuse for spending lacks of my tax payments on bringing a spineless rat to justice, over years. Peace can not be a reason behind the statement of our Prime Minister that "we will do everything in our power to bring the culprits to justice". He talks of power as if it were something that someone would bestow on him. Wake up please, you're leading the whole country, what higher god damn power do you need? Oh yes! The law says that may a hundred culprits go scot free but an innocent should not be punished. Hmm!!! Actually a moral power is needed, isn't it Mr. PM. I concede with you.
But then how much longer would you need to get that moral power to justify passing sentence on the rat who you've kept as your most esteemed guest. What sort of evidences do you need? Why can't it be done and be over with?
It is no more time for saving your balls under an L guard. Be the man!!! Be the one who can act.
We always hear about actions to be taken, but what actions are those is a question that's never answered. Let us have a charter...
Oh!!! You would want help on where to start, who to take action against, and what action? Let me tell you...
For now...
1. Take care of that Tihar guest of yours. How? Here it is. You've been spending lacks of our tax money on him per day, spend Rs. 50/- more get a 9 MM bullet, place the barrel under his chin and just move your finger no more than what you do while writing with a pen.
2. Going through the TOI news, read a comment by a man right on the website who said he distributed sweets to his neighbors when the financial capital burnt. Find them and bring them to exactly one day long trial, with just one question to be answered. Why and how did that comment come up on TOI website and who all enjoyed the sweets? To be answered in 100 words or less. And an immediate sentence.
3. Acknowledge that all those who have been caught with guns on their shoulders, ammunitions in their pockets, blood on their hands ARE the CULPRITS. Exterminate those.

You really need to understand that these are wimps you're dealing with, who hide their face, who target those who cannot fight back. And if you can't understand that, you stand below them. You stand as something so weak that no language has an adjective for.
A small country like Sri Lanka is telling you that you need to learn from them. A country that started it's own struggle against aggression with our help is now telling us to have the courage to act. What more would you need to wake up from your sloth slumber?

And it gives way to the recitation of "vijayi ke sadrishya jiyo re" and I wonder if the day will ever come...
